Rachel Zoe has teamed up with Jockey, well known affordable intimates brand, to launch a line of intimate apparel designed by the fashion expert herself. The collection is going to be entitled “Preferred by Rachel Zoe” and the collection will include underwear and shape wear. The line is expected to take the racks of Jockey stores this month before later being sold in Macy’s, Kohl’s and Lord & Taylor this October.
Dustin Cohn, the chief marketing officer of Jockey, told Women’s Wear Daily that Rachel Zoe was brought in to help Jockey appeal to a younger, more fashion-conscious consumer. The duo, Rachel Zoe and Jockey, are hoping to appeal to stylish consumers with three-paneled shapwear and “cheeky” hipster and boy-short underwear styles.
Rachel Zoe says, “style starts from within and having the right foundation is critical to the ultimate success of your outfit. I love marrying comfort with style and this new collection by Jockey does just that.”
The styles will be available in black, white, beige, dark cherry and deep blue. The underwear will sell for $10.50 each or three for $27.00 and the tops will retail for $21.00-$24.00. Shapewear will be selling for $26.00-$57.00.
The collection offers an affordable, comfortable and stylish array of intimates. The color pallet is fall friendly and all pieces are made to flatter every body type.
