The international, luxury brand designer, Stuart Weitzman, is known for using innovative materials like cork, vinyl, and even 24-karat gold to make stunning women’s shoes. With shoes sold in over 70 countries, Weitzman has always been driven to create sophisticated designs that are chic and comfortable at the same time. “I have this goal. That goal has always been to make a shoe that will make you smile,” Stuart notes.
Since making his first shoe at the age of 16, Weitzman has turned the glamour of making women’s shoes into an art form. New York Girl Style recently caught up with the New York centered shoe and handbag designer at SAK’s 5th Avenue luxury department store extraordinaire to find out whom he designs for and what he considers true New York style. He designs for a modern sophisticate woman that adores to feel glamour, elegance luxury in her personal style.
