The Santa Barbara International Film Festival (SBIFF), in partnership with Dom Pérignon Champagne, is a non-profit arts and education organization created to discover exceptional talent and showcase the best in independent and international film. For 11 days, the beautiful downtown area of Santa Barbara, California is transformed into a star-studded hub of films, tributes, and symposiums, drawing in over 90,000 attendees.
On the second night of SBIFF, Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling were honored for Outstanding Performances at the Dom Pérignon Lounge inside The Arlington Theater, the largest theater and primary performing arts venue in Santa Barbara. The award was presented to Stone and Gosling by LA LA Land director, Damien Chazelle.
Other honorees for the festival include: Denzel Washington, Casey Affleck, Michelle Williams, Isabelle Huppert, Jeff Bridges, Aaron Taylor Johnson, Dev Patel, Janelle Monáe, Mahershala Ali, Naomie Harris, Ruth Negga, Simon Helberg, and Stephen McKinley Henderson.
2017 marks the third year for Dom Pérignon to return as the Official Champagne of the festival. Each honoree was presented with a personalized bottle of Dom Pérignon P2 Vintage 1998 backstage to toast their respective awards and outstanding accomplishments.
