Dusty rose, light creme, burnt sienna, and delicate florals-these are just a few things that inspired Ulla Johnson’s Fall/Winter 2017 line that premiered this week at NYFW. Born and raised in Manhattan, Ulla Johnson has been making her way to the top since 2000, starting small but eventually gaining a lot of traction in the fashion industry for her versatile and flowy designs.
Johnson’s yearly travels to countries such as India, Peru, and Morocco serve as her muse for all of her lines, and this new Ready To Wear collection is no exception. The line mainly consists of unstructured dresses and jumpsuits, ruffles, billowing sleeves, and swishy fabrics, but some of her designs feature a little more structure than in the past, as can be seen with some of her outerwear. Still, Ulla Johnson remains true to herself and delivers a beautiful collection of easy, layered looks that will be a go-to for those fall days where you need to look polished but effortlessly stylish.
