100,000 live orchids, 300 air plants, succulents, moss, and vines took over Ralph Lauren’s flagship store on Madison Avenue for New York Fashion Week. From the entryway to the second floor, the store was transformed into a floral wonderland.
This floor-to-ceiling botanical installation completely transformed the retail store and immersed the audience into an enchanted garden experience. In addition to providing a magical environment for it’s attendees and viewers, Ralph Lauren’s see-now-buy-now February 2017 collection showcased relaxed silhouettes, animal print accessories, silk dresses, and plenty of gold.
The collection, Ralph Lauren said, “was inspired by a nomadic spirit, an exotic sophistication.” The February 2017 collection offers a healthy mix of wearable options tailored to not only the loyal Ralph Lauren customer, but to the younger generation as well. Notable names to walk the garden include Mica Arganaraz in a silk evening look layered over denim, Bella Hadid in a hooded silk dress, and Kendall Jenner in a wear-to-work ensemble.
Want to see the installation for yourself? The “living wall” will remain intact on location from Thursday, February 16th, through, February 20th.
