What to Wear for the Second Snowpocalypse

Just when we thought that warmer weather was upon us, Mother Nature decided to go back on her word and dumped 7 inches of snow on New York City.  So until the 60 degree spring weather comes back, and hopefully for good, it’s time to pull out the snow gear that we thought would be packed away in our closets for the season.  But don’t be discouraged, and try some of these winter looks that are still trending right now until you can wear your favorite spring dress again!

Puffy Jackets

Puffy jackets are all the rage right now, and the recent burst of cold weather is the perfect opportunity to jump on this trend that is popular with celebs and fashion influencers.

Over the Knee Boots

If you want to keep your legs and feet covered while looking put together, then over the knee boots are right for you. Although they aren’t perhaps not the most practical in the winter slush and snow, this trend is hot right now and may cool off as the spring and summer months make way for open toe shoes.

There’s nothing like fur, be it faux or real, to keep you looking warm and fashion forward.  Whether it’s a fur coat, hat, or collar, this trend can be incorporated into your wardrobe in many different ways.

Puffball Hats

One of New York’s most prominent cold weather trends, the puffball hat is having a big moment.  You can purchase a hat like this on nearly every street corner shop or market.  They’re almost too cute to resist, and will keep your ears warm from the sharp winter winds.
