David Beckham x Kent & Curwen

Everyone know’s Victoria Beckham is one of London’s and the world’s most famous designers, but did you know that her husband David is not dabbling in the world of fashion design? Recently, at London Fashion Week, David launched his collaboration with Kent & Curwen. They’re popularly known as an English heritage brand.

The collection is very quintessential English and has a bit of a rugby and cricket inspiration. (Mainly noted from one of the rugby striped sweaters David is featured in on their website.)  A lot of the standout pieces include blazers, knitted sweaters and WWI military influenced outerwear. One of the biggest WWI pieces is an overcoat that embraces the full heritage of England. The popular varsity jacket pays homage to the old school tradition of kids loading up their jackets with pins and patches.

Finally, the rose emblem is featured in numerous designs byKent & Curwen so for most of the pieces for David’s collaboration, the rose is prominent in the designs.
