Top Models Illustrated: Star Wars

Harper’s Bazaar couldn’t have said it better – “Star Wars: The Force of Fashion.”

It is no secret that Star Wars: The Last Jedi will be rolling out in theaters next month. By now you may know the work of Lucasfilm illustrator Brian Rood – the illustrations that represent the modern visual style of Star Wars.

Harper’s Bazaar enlisted Rood’s help in its November issue by asking him to “cast the industry’s reigning catwalk queens in classic scenes from the franchise.”

And here are the results:

Gerber and the Hadids referenced 1980’s Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back. Hill referenced the film that started it all – 1977’s Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope. And Jenner wielded a lightsaber.

Designers that were lucky enough to be featured in these illustrations include Vera Wang, Rag and Bone, Burberry, and Carolina Herrera.

We just love these ladies and how these illustrations came out! Too bad we won’t be seeing them in the film!
