City Insider: Trendy East Village Looks

Each neighborhood in NYC has its own distinct style. The East Village neighborhood in Manhattan has character and a rustic appeal to it. It also happens to have a very hip and bohemian culture, and you’ll see this throughout many vintage and bohemian boutiques, t-shirt shops, and street stands filled with hats and sunglasses located between Third and Second Avenue.

Back in the 1950s, many hippies were attracted to this neighborhood, and today there are still hipsters flaunting ’90s fashion gear, such as platform boots and bomber jackets.

In the East Village, you’ll be sure to find eclectic shops and feel the creative energy in the air. It’s also the perfect place to experiment with your style, as head-turning street style is the norm!
