Best Dressed Golden Globes 2018

A-List celebs decided to make a major fashion statement at this year’s Golden Globe Awards and a powerful one at that. The stars came out in their chosen shade of solidarity, black, to show their support of the newly founded Times Up movement which stands against sexual harassment and inequality in the entertainment industry and beyond. And while limiting one’s clothing options to simply one color would seem to hinder the ability to give that wow factor on the red carpet, it in fact did the exact opposite.

The all-black dress code allowed celebrities and stylists to get creative when it came to fabrics, textures, embellishments and accessories. From ball gowns to pantsuits, from headpieces to statement shoes, the stars brought their a-game to the red carpet and although there weren’t many outfits we didn’t like, here are a few that caught our attention!CZ Globes

Catherine Zeta-Jones earns her place at the top of the best dressed list this year with her incredibly sexy, dramatic look. Catherine rocked a Zuhair Murad a-line gown with long sleeves and a plunging neckline. She topped off her look with Charlotte Olympia shoes, Lorraine Schwartz jewelry and an effortlessly chic hair and makeup combo.KJ Globes

Say what you want about the Kardashian-Jenner family, but these women know how to slay a red carpet and the 2018 Golden Globes was no exception. Kendall Jenner rocked an incredibly dramatic Giambattista Valli strapless gown which boasted a fill multi-tiered, deconstructed skirt with a full train. She paired it with a t-strap pump, gently tousled hair and a “less-is-more” makeup look.

When have we ever not seen Sarah Jessica Parker rock a red carpet? She made a stylish statement in a satin and lace Dolce&Gabbana tea-length dress, embellished with a beautiful diamond belt. She accessorized with bejeweled pumps from her SJP Collection and kept her hair and makeup simple, not overdone. Her look was effortlessly chic.AB Golden Globes

Alison Brie rocked the all-black look like the rest of her peers on Sunday night; however, she did it a little differently and gave us a skirted pantsuit and we couldn’t love it more. The stunning silk number was designed by Vassilis Zoulias and gave us the perfect cross between a gorgeous dress and a powersuit. Paired with black Christian Louboutin pumps and an incredible diamond statement necklace, Alison’s look was understated yet powerful.

Kate Hudson turned heads on Sunday as we walked the red carpet in a plunging see-through number designed by Valentino. She showed off a stunning Harry Winston necklace with matching earrings and completed her look with a smokey eye and a pop of color in her red lip.
