Blake Lively and Alexa Chung were spotted wearing the same dress, but don’t worry it wasn’t to the same event.
The dress is from Chanel’s Resort 2011 collection. The short-sleeved navy blue dress adorned with a flower print and a black lace that extended through the midsection looked phenomenal on both ladies, but in different ways.
Lively showed off her sex appeal by pairing the Chanel flowery frock with sky-high nude colored heels on July 28th to the premiere of Twelve, starring her Gossip Girl Costar Chace Crawford.
Alexa Chung wore the outfit on October 5th to Chanel’s Spring 2011 show in Paris. Chung toned down the outfit with a clutch and black flats for an earthy, easygoing and laid back style.
It’s hard to say who wore it best or which girl looks more fabulous wearing a Chanel dress. They each have their own unique style that it really depends on what kind of look you want. Heading out on the town? Lively’s look may be more suited for you. having lunch or coffee with a friend? then you may want to take the casual route that Chung took. The limitless possibilities of this dress and the absolute adorableness gives both of these looks a thumbs up from me.
