New York Girl Style is excited to bring you behind the scenes of a Smashbox Cosmetics photo shoot. Backed by the edgy rock and roll sounds of New York City band The Strokes, the video captures the energy that Smashbox strives to give each and every one of their makeup users.
Smashbox Cosmetics comes from a strong background in the industry and was founded in 1996 by Dean and Davis Factor , who are the great-grandsons of the legendary Hollywood makeup artist Max Factor. Smashbox is one of the few cosmetics lines that was developed at a photo studio and their products deliver a true Hollywood glamour that many may be missing.
Smashbox is mostly sold in open-sell store formats, including Ulta, Sephora and Macy’s Impulse Beauty concept and tend to shift away from department stores. Smashbox is sold throughout North America as well as some 60 countries worldwide, said Dean Factor.
For this coming Spring, they are releasing their In Bloom Collection, full of beautifully soft pastels, pinks, and greys to perfectly accompany your newest flowered skirts and woven tunics once the sun starts to shine once again.
Smashbox offers fun makeup that will take your from daytime dates to glitzy nights on the town. And since all of their make up is made tough enough to last through a pro photo shoot, it’s time to grab your friends, your camera and lip gloss and have some Spingtime fun!
