One of the hottest new looks for this spring is the classic trench, which is being rocked by starlets like Emma Watson and Kim Kardashian. The figure-flattering look is always appropriate weather wearing it to work or as a figure-flattering spring cover-up for going out on the town.
Yves Saint Laurent invented the style, but to date their have been many variations on the classic. Stars such as Katharine McPhee and Whitney Port have recently been seen wearing classic versions of the tan trench. And of course, everyone’s latest obsession, royal-to-be Kate Middleton, was seen wearing a classic pale beige Burberry trench while flipping pancakes for charity.
Today, most of the trendsetting celebs are wearing variations on the classic trench. Emma was focused on recently in our Look of the Week segment wearing a Burberry tan trench with black leather sleeves and leather accents. Now, the starlet has been seen wearing a different adaptation of the classic look, a beige Burbwrry Prorsum trench with studded sleeves a studded belts. Kim Kardashian wore a similar version of the coat, also.
Hoe can you get an adapted trench for a fresh fall look for less? Take a gaze at Ann Taylor’s newest line of short sleeved trenches for a hot summer style. Loft is also marketing an olive version of the trendy trench. Mossimo brand at Target has a classic black trench.
Calvin Klein is also embracing the trend with a trench dress and Banana Republic has a sleeveless trench coat coming out this spring.
With so many great chances to wear a twist on the classic trench, this is a look that every girl on the go will be sporting in no time.
