This season the stripe pattern has been ruling the runway. Neon, bold, thin, horizontal vertical, or graphic this season’s stripes have taken the classic nautical look and thoroughly modernized it.

While there is a stigma that stripes have the ability to make us look wider than we should like, designers this spring utilize the stripes to stress our feminine features. For a more relaxed every-day look, Splendid has always carried the signature striped t-shirts, but has now added crop tops and flouncy blouses equally as trendy this season. Marc by Marc Jacobs especially honed in on accentuating our figures by using belts and ties around dresses at the mid-waist line. Beyond dresses, Marc by Marc Jacobs showcased longer skirts and shorts that both started at the mid-waist line.
