One way to ensure that you won’t look like a fashion princess when your date asks to go miniature golfing or to the batting cage is to wear clothes that aren’t high maintenance. Your date will automatically assume you’re high maintenance if you wear stiletto sandals and white shorts, both of which are hindering when it comes to date activities.
On the first few dates it’s always a good idea to wear shoes that are versatile and can take you almost anywhere. No one wants to look frumpy, so wear wedges. Wedges still give you a little height and compliment your legs, but are ten times easier to walk in than spike heels.
For your outfit, try something revealing that keeps the good stuff covered. Instead of going for cleavage, slip on a tank top with strategically placed cutouts. Shorts and skirts show off just enough skin that your guy will try to imagine what the rest looks like. For your purse choice, wear something that’s crossbody, or at least has the option to be crossbody. This allows you to keep your purse on you without feeling physically inhibited as you would with a top handle handbag or clutch.
Although Lady Gaga would disagree, fashion should never interfere with having fun, but you don’t have to sacrifice a sexy look to get mobile.
