Best Makeup Glamour Roundup

This summer season, best makeup trends are all about color and shine.Whether it’s bright lips or gold eyes, here are the hottest summer make-up trends and got to acheive the look for yourself.

Gold Eyes: Shimmer is in this season, and it’s all about the eyes! Seen on runways such as BCBG Max Azria, gold eyes are a great accent to your newly bronzed skin! For the fashion show, makeup artist Charlotte Willer used “three gold-based shades from the Maybelline New York EyeStudio Color Plus Eyeshadow in Give Me Gold according to Allure magazine. She says that she “dotted white gold on the inner corners and on the lids, bronze in the crease and underneath the lash lines, and a neutral gold to highlight the brow bones, then blend.” For a more nighttime look, use black or navy liquid liner on your top eyelid. Try MAC’s liquid eye liner for a long lasting definition!

Neon Lips: Neon lips dominated the spring runways, seen at fashion shows such as Diane von Furstenburg and Marc Jacobs. Coral and fuschia are perfect lipstick shades for summer. Try Collection 865 from Dior’s Addict Lipstick collection for a bold look. Not into too much color? Try a sheer version, like Nars lipstick in Niagara.

Dewy Skin: Keeping your skin looking luminous and dewy is a great for this summer. My favorite product is Laura Mercier’s tinted moisturizer, which even contains SPF 20 to keep your face from getting burnt during the scorching summer days.

These trends can be done for either daytime or nighttime. Our beauty editor loves the MAC liner and the Dior Addict lipstick both duo brings a glamour touch to your makeup day or night. Try one or all of these beauty trends out to stand out this summer season.
